Spectral Camera is an integrated combination of ImSpector imaging spectrograph and a matrix camera forming a complete spectral imaging device in one compact package. Operation is based on SPECIM's direct sight imaging spectrograph technology. Spectral Camera captures a line image of a target and disperses light from each line image pixel to spectrum. Each spectral image contains then line pixels in spatial axis and spectral pixels in spectral axis.
In consequence it is possible to acquire full spectral information for each line image acquired from the target. Since Spectral Camera captures images sequentially of the moving target or by moving itself, a 2D spectral image can be formed. This technology allows diversified opportunities to analyse the target accurately based on its spectral features.

Spectral Cameras are available with analogue or digital output. Additionally, Spectral Cameras are provided either with standard C-mount for objective lens or fiber optics input when Spectral Camera becomes a multichannel spectrometer capable of measuring several points of a target simultaneously.
