Aisa+
| AISA+ is a proven hyperspectral system that has been designed to collect accurate and reliable information of the earth surface. |
| AISA+'s compact and field friendly design makes it an excellent tool for airborne and ground remote sensing analysis. It is quick to install and remove from any aircraft taking approximately just over one hour to intall or remove the system once the technique has been learnt.
|
Components
| AISA+ is a complete, pushbroom system, consisting of a hyperspectral sensor head, miniature GPS/INS sensor, data acquisition unit in a rugged PC with display unit and power supply. |
| The system also includes an in-flight configuration setting, which allows alterations to be made
easily for each exercise, and AISA's post processing software CaliGeo. Like all of Specim's products
CaliGeo has been under development so that it provides a more user friendly interface to apply both
radiometric calibration and georectification to the AISA images. CaliGeo now exists as an ENVI plug-in
running under ENVI user interface and providing a seamless path from calibrated image to application
processing. |

Performance
| To produce the most compatiable AISA system for the application Specim offers a range of fore optic that amend the sensors Field of view which will effect the resolution of the images and the amount of light allowed into the sensor. |
Field of view and Swath
| The AISA+ measures up to 244 bands of contiguous visible and IR wavelengths at up to 100 images/s. |
Applications
| AISA systems have been used in a variety of commercial, scientific and public service applications, in both the air and on the ground which include the following areas; |
- Agriculture
- Emergency Services
- Environmental
- Field Scanner
- Forensics and Military
- Forestry
- Water Assessment
